Psychological Services for Scuba Divers

Detailed course about psychological trauma and how it impacts recreational scuba divers. Contains summaries and links to available research, as well as lessons on what psychological trauma is and how it is treated. I've included this here as, although initially intended for a lay audience, it built into a useful resource for healthcare professionals interesting in diving-related trauma.

Specialist Assessment

Psychological fitness to dive

Psychological assessment and reporting is available to inform referrers providing statements of medical fitness to dive where issues of mental health / behavioral / developmental conditions are a concern. Potentially adaptable for recreational, professional or commercial diving. To get a sense of what may be covered by such an assessment, you may view the reference copy. Please note that the process is still under development and subject to change.
