Help for scuba divers after an adverse event

Being involved in a scuba diving incident (DCI, drowning, missing/lost, entanglement, boat incident ...), whether directly or as a bystander/rescuer, can sometimes lead to significant psychological distress.  In some cases divers can develop PTSD or other mental health issues.  There is little diver-specific information, so I have created a hub of pages with self-care and signposting tips for divers.  There is also information about the private psychology services that I offer as a Clinical Psychologist, specialising in working with divers.  Please feel free to download and share this flyer.  It can be printed and placed in a dive centre, club venue or clinic.  Or shared via email.  You could also use the image on a website if you think useful for your divers.

The information is created by a UK Registered Clinical Psychologist who specialises in working with scuba divers (as well as being a senior scuba diving instructor).  It is based on research of literature and experience.
